Make intubations faster and safer
The i-scoop has been extensively tested with clinical applications on a large number of patients and in-depth analyses of 100+ applications throughout a 4-year period. The tests indicate superior results compared to all types of both direct or video laryngoscopes currently used.
The i-scoop outperformed all other laryngoscopes in both difficult and normal simulated airways. Showing potential as an easier and safer alternative to present devices.
The results were easily achieved with low invasiveness. This results in new options for the management of normal and difficult airways.
The i-scoop offers ideal glottis visualization with effective tube placement into the trachea, even with novice users. Successful intubations with CL1 visibility and min. 80% glottic view was achieved on the first attempt in all cases.
Despite a very heterogeneous patient population, the same device could be used for all intubations (age 5-90 years; height 116-194 cm; weight 21-140 kg; e-Ganzouri index 24 in 12 patients).
